To control the servo motor, we use a digital I/O pin like 9 (Arduino), D7 (ESP8266) or 4 (ESP32). ![]() If you power the microcontroller boards via USB, you can also use the 5V output of the ESP8266 or ESP32 boards. To control Servo we have to use PWM signal. The power supply for the servo motor is either the 5V pin for the Arduino boards or the 3.3V pin for the ESP8266 or ESP32 boards. We cover that in more detail in the next section. Note: Output shaft positional feedback is only available on standard (closed-loop) servos. You can see the information in the picture, and i will use the Black Servo(mid) in this topic.
